Why WITH Leadership®?
When I was eight years old, my teacher asked me to show a new student around school. I froze; I was terrified. Seeing my fear, she smiled and said, “Erin, you are a natural leader. You’ll do well.”

Her words were meant to encourage me, but instead they planted doubt. As an introvert, I didn’t see myself as a leader. Yet when I stopped trying to lead and simply chose to put my efforts into helping the new girl (who quickly became my friend), the fear faded. In that moment, I learned something that has shaped my life’s work: leadership isn’t about personality, it’s about people.

Years later, through my MBA and PhD studies, I discovered that research affirmed what I had experienced firsthand. Authentic leadership isn’t reserved for the bold or the loud. It’s formed through daily choices. It’s about who we are that informs what we do.

That belief is the foundation of the WITH Leadership® lifestyle, four learnable habits that help people build stronger relationships, create lasting communities, and lead in ways that are sustainable and human.

Meet Erin Seheult
I’m Erin Seheult, a wife, mother, lifelong student of leadership, and the Founder and CEO of WITH Leadership®.
​
During my PhD research, I encountered authentic leadership theory, a framework that transformed not only how I understand leadership, but how I live it. It affirmed something I had felt for years: great leadership doesn’t have to be complicated.
It’s about being WITH.
​
Today, I seek to live out that belief through my work in speaking, training, reading, writing, and creating practical tools that help people build stronger, healthier relationships and lasting communities, both at work and in life.
​
The WITH Leadership® lifestyle is more than a theory. It’s a practical, human approach to leadership that helps people thrive while bringing others WITH them.
​
Because at the core of it all, we all long for someone to be WITH us. And when we choose to be WITH others, we grow and lead well together.
